All classes and workshops at Just Yoga are conducted by teachers who hold the international Iyengar Yoga Certification Mark, a symbol of excellence and authenticity in teaching the Iyengar method in its purest form.
Our teachers are dedicated to the practice and teaching of Iyengar Yoga. They maintain and develop their teaching abilities by attending Workshops, Conventions, Classes and training with more senior Iyengar teachers.
Jill "I first went to a yoga class in 1978 and was immediately hooked. After 20 years of personal practice and development, and encouraged by my own teacher, I wanted to help others understand how yoga could improve their health and wellbeing." Jill is qualified to teach at Intermediate Junior Level 3.
Mel "I started practising yoga with Cathy Rogers-Evans in 1991, originally to help with my weak back. My back and my interest grew stronger, and I was inspired to start teacher training in 1998. Yoga has enriched all aspects of my life.
Mel is qualified to teach at Intermediate Junior Level 3.
John "I have been a dedicated yoga practitioner since 1982 when it began to help me recover from back problems. By 1996 I had become drawn towards the Iyengar method and have been teaching since 2002."
John is qualified to teach at junior intermediate Level 3.
Anna "I started Yoga as a stiff bodied person having never done anything vaguely sporty, but I ached all over and I knew that wasn't right. I soon learnt Yoga is about a lot more than the physical and it has enhanced every aspect of my life." Anna is qualified to teach junior intermediate level 2 and is enjoying training towards level 3.
Viju "I started to look for yoga classes to help with a back injury, from playing badminton. Yoga was always in my blood. I tried one or two different types of yoga, but I knew what I wanted. Then I found Iyengar yoga and thoroughly enjoyed the class with Cathy Rogers-Evans. Since then I have never looked back. After a few years I trained as a teacher. My training is ongoing and I am still enjoying it."
